My name is Marine, I was born and raised in Belgium but I am currently living in Australia. After having spend 3.5 years living and working a 9 to 5 in England, I wanted to try something else so I got a Working Holiday Visa and a one-way ticket to Sydney.
I wanted to create this blog to share my experiences, travel tips, itineraries and my life abroad in general. I want to show you that travelling does not have to be expensive, that you can discover the world on a budget and that you can do it alone if you want to. I’ve travelled to 30 countries on 5 continents, planned road trips for me and my friends and solo travelled to a few destinations. Apart from England, I’ve also lived in the US where I did a year abroad program, in Russia for my Erasmus (study abroad) and now I’m living the life down under.
I’ve had this idea of a travel blog for a while but never got round to actually doing it. I love sharing all my travel content on Instagram but usually I just feel like there’s so much more I want to say and I thought it would be easier to share it all here!
For the moment, I don’t know when or where I want to settle even though this year I will be entering my thirties. I guess I just haven’t found that place and it might be one of the reasons I keep travelling. This is why I also want this platform to inspire people to live out their dream, to keep travelling and to not settle until you are fully ready. So this is for all the girlies (and men) in their late 20s/early 30s who are not ready to settle down and dream of exploring the world.
